- The Chicago Swing Dance Society, which offers classes and social dances on UChicago’s campus. Though we teach swing dancing at the BLDA, our curriculum is geared towards DanceSport swing dancing, which can be very different from social swing dancing. The Chicago Swing Dance Society can take your interests in swing dance further through their weekly lessons on Lindy Hop, Charleston, East Coast Swing, and West Coast Swing, which you can practice at their weekly Java Jive!
